Jakarta, Indonesia — Indonesia Inovasi Sehat (IIS), a health innovation organization committed to connecting world-class medical solutions with Indonesia’s healthcare ecosystem, has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with HekaBio K.K, a Japan-based, asset-light healthcare platform that accelerates patient access to global medicines and MedTech across Asia-Pacific.
The signing ceremony took place on September 2025, in South Jakarta, Indonesia. The MoU was signed by Dr. Dino Patti Djalal, Founder & CEO of IIS, and Rodney Kelly, Chief Growth Officer of HekaBio.
Through this agreement:
IIS will receive the full pipeline of global healthcare innovations entering HekaBio and Japan.
IIS will serve as the official partner for the Japanese healthcare ecosystem in Indonesia.

In addition, IIS announced that it is now officially part of the Health Innovation Asia Pacific (HIAP) Network, a regional platform dedicated to accelerating the adoption of healthcare innovations across the Asia Pacific.
This collaboration is expected to create new opportunities for Indonesian hospitals, healthcare providers, and patients to access cutting-edge medical technologies while strengthening Indonesia–Japan healthcare relations.

“This partnership marks a milestone in enhancing healthcare collaboration between Indonesia and Japan. By bridging global innovators with local healthcare providers, we aim to ensure Indonesian patients gain access to transformative medical solutions,” said Dr. Dino Patti Djalal, CEO of IIS.
“We are proud to partner with IIS as our trusted collaborator in Indonesia. Together, we will accelerate the entry of transformative healthcare technologies that will deliver meaningful patient impact,” said Rodney Kelly, Chief Growth Officer of HekaBio.
